A remarkable event took place on 30 May 2023, when a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the NGO CrimeaUA and the NGO Crimean Tatar Resource Centre to assist in the development of regulations related to the de-occupation and further reintegration of the AR of Crimea into the social, economic, legislative, cultural and other environments of Ukraine, which was established in 2015 to ensure the collective rights of the Crimean Tatars as an indigenous people and the individual rights of all Crimean residents to achieve sustainable development and promote the de-occupation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. The signing of the memorandum was attended by representatives of the NGO ‘CrimeaWatch’, Chairman of the Board of the NGO ‘CTRC’ Eskender Bariev and Chairman of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar People Refat Chubarov.
